Camille Christel explores new sounds through her new project Raining Blue. The music carries dreamlike compositions into a biographical audio diary that collages sampled sounds and words from blue days. These new creations were realised and recorded over the past summer back home in Tony 'Doggen' Foster (Spiritualized) studio in Nottingham. Raining Blue is the new alias of the singer/songwriter Camille Christel, whose debut collab with the collective BE in 2016 was praised as one of The Guardian & Rough Trade’s Albums of the year. Since then, Camille released her 2018 EP championed by Mary Anne Hobbs on BBC 6 Music, who named ‘Copenhagen’ “an exquisitely beautiful piece.” |
